The initial production version of the Me163, the 'B-0' featured the following:

• MG151/20 cannons protruding outside the fuselage

• Trajectory tester in front of cowling (this may be small hole in the front of the canopy that is often referred to as a ventilation duct)

• Rear wheel cowling fitted

• Ventilator covers either side of the rocket nozzle

• Early style pitot tube
